In this essay, I will explore some of the fandom around Star Wars and discuss how it is celebrated in regards to its movies. Specifically focusing on two films that were released in 2016, “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” and “Star Wars: Episode VIII”. I will examine why fans of the franchise enjoy these films so much and what makes them so special.
